An owner-operated drone survey business
Updraft Drones is run by Sam Paddick, a qualified commercial drone pilot. When you book a survey, you deal with the pilot who flies it.
Why Updraft
Getting a proper look at a roof, a structure or a whole site usually means scaffolding, access equipment or someone working at height. Updraft Drones gets the same information from the air, faster and more safely, and turns it into imagery, reports, maps and models that people can act on.
How we work
Every job starts with the questions you need answered. We check the site, the airspace and the access, then send a fixed written quote that lists exactly what you will receive and in which formats. On the day, the flight is planned and risk-assessed, and the results follow in the format you asked for.
Our sister company
Updraft Drones shares its contact details with Can't Do It Yourself (CDIY), a building and trades business covering the same area. If an inspection finds work that needs doing, CDIY can carry it out, or you can pass our report to your own contractor.
