Drone surveys and inspections across Kent
Roof and building inspections, aerial surveys, asset inspections and thermal imaging in Dartford, Swanley, Gravesend, Rochester and across Kent.
From the Thames-side industry around Dartford and the Medway towns to Maidstone, Ashford and the coast at Folkestone and Dover, we fly surveys and inspections right across Kent.
The county mixes logistics sheds and business parks with historic town centres, schools and large solar farms. Each needs a different approach, and we plan every flight around the site, its neighbours and the local airspace.

Drone work in Kent
Warehouses and business parks
Large flat and low-pitched roofs along the A2, M2 and M20 corridors are slow and risky to inspect on foot. A drone covers them in a single visit.
Historic town centres
Canterbury and Rochester have dense, older buildings close to busy streets. We plan these flights carefully around the public and neighbouring properties.
Solar farms
Kent hosts many ground-mounted solar sites. Thermal surveys find faulty panels and strings across a whole array quickly.
Coastal exposure
Buildings near the coast at Folkestone and Dover take a battering from wind and salt. Regular roof and facade surveys catch damage early.
Airspace in Kent
Most of Kent is open for planned drone work, but flight restriction zones surround protected aerodromes such as Biggin Hill, near the county’s western edge, and Lydd on Romney Marsh. Flights inside those zones need permission from the airport. We check every site against current airspace information and arrange any permissions before the visit.
- London Biggin Hill Airport
- Lydd (London Ashford) Airport
Surveys and inspections in Kent
- Roof & Building InspectionsClose-up imagery of roofs, gutters, chimneys and facades, delivered as a clear, annotated report.
- Aerial Surveys & MappingOrthomosaic maps, 3D models and measured site records, captured quickly and safely from the air.
- Asset & Infrastructure InspectionsMasts, solar arrays, plant and structures inspected without access equipment or work at height.
- Facilities & Estates SurveysRoof and fabric condition across a whole estate, to plan maintenance and budget with evidence.
- Condition MonitoringRepeat surveys from the same viewpoints, so change is easy to see and simple to evidence.
- Thermal & Technical ImagingThermal surveys for heat loss, flat-roof moisture and solar faults, plus technical stills and video.
- Solar PV InspectionA thermal scan of the whole array, with each fault located by string and panel.
- Stockpile & Volume SurveysVolume calculations and surface models of stockpiles and earthworks, from a single flight.
- Construction Progress MonitoringRepeat orthomosaics, photos and video of your site at every stage, flown the same way each time.
Drone surveys in Kent: common questions
Which parts of Kent do you cover?
We work from Dartford and Swanley through Gravesend, the Medway towns and Maidstone to Ashford, Canterbury, Folkestone and Dover, and the places in between. Call us with your postcode if you are elsewhere.
Can you fly near Biggin Hill or Lydd airports?
Often, yes, with permission. Sites inside an airport’s flight restriction zone need the airport’s agreement before we fly. We apply for it as part of planning the job.
Do you inspect solar farms in Kent?
Yes. Thermal surveys of solar arrays are one of the fastest ways to find underperforming panels and string faults. See our thermal imaging service.
We also cover Bexley, Essex and Hertfordshire.
Have a site in Kent?
Send us the address and what you need to know. We’ll plan the flight, check the airspace and send you a clear, fixed quote.
